  I just ordered three more Grade 5 Lightining bearing sets for my Shimano reels. I'd installed the Grade 5 Lightning bearings in three Curados and one Citica. I'm purchasing these three sets for one more Citica and two more Curados.
  
  I was leery when I cheaped out with the Lightnings instead of the Orange Seals. No mistake at all.
  
  I tested the Citicas with full spools, line taped down on the spool, tension knob backed off, and dry bearings. I made a few fast cranks and then hit the thumb bar release. The stock bearings would allow the spool to spin for 20 to 30 seconds at most. The Lightnings would spin for over 2 1/2 minutes - just shy of 3. Same on the Curados.
  
  These are great reels as purchased, but now they're incredible. I can only guess what the Orange Seals would do. I've fished with the Curado CU200Es and the Citica several times and I'm very happy with the Lightnings. I'm surprised that you don't have reviews for these like you do for the Orange Seals.
  
  The next Curados are CU300E and CU300EJ that I use for Muskie fishing. I'll be showing them off to all the guys at the resort in two weeks.

  Just installed this bearing to Citica 201E and spin freespool for 2min 5sec instead of 30sec on stock bearing.. Can't wait to go fishing to see this bearing perform.. 5*****

  Everyone should try the ceramic bearings, replaced mine on my reels and really can feel the smoothness and the performance,cast longer than the original stainless steel bearings. Also tried the Lightning lube ,this lube made my old reel run smooth.

  I ordered these bearings to revive two 32 year old reels that were sitting in a drawer because they came from the factory with bronze bushings and they were really worn. After cleaning and lubricating everything, I have 2 new JDM reels that are better than new. The support I received from the guys at Boca was excellent.   Just want to give feeback on your excellant product.
  1) The shipping was very fast.
  2) The quality of your packaging and labelling is very good.
  3) I've been using the bearings on my casting reels for some months now. I can say that the performance is very good, especially the orange seal bearings.
  Casting is easier now. Better at distance.

  Ordered me up some new orange seal bearings for my old shimanos calcutta curados and let me say this, that old calcutta aint old no more. What a product this is.. Im surprised iI havent heard of these thru the grapevine, pure luck found em on net and ordered.. Anyhow they know what theyre doin. From now on, all new reels get these bearings right off.. period

  Wow .. So much better than stock it’s not even funny  

  Installed a set of these In one of my Curado K 200s , and they’re 10x better than the factory bearings . The spool spins for what seems like forever even with cast control tightened a bit … haven’t cast it yet but I know it’s better already . Not that Curado Ks aren’t great right outta the box cus they are … these bearings just take it up another notch .. probably the best casting reel made for the money and with these Boca bearings it’s gonna be just like a sports car … sure like to see how a set works on my Already silky smooth Tranx 400 … hopefully they’ll get them to me asap .. Great bearings no doubt ..
